Calling today’s progressives melodramatic is putting it mildly.
We can’t even begin to imagine losing it ENTIRELY because our party didn’t win the presidential election. Look, Conservatives were not happy about Obama but they didn’t claim the world was ending and write ridiculous, apocalyptic garbage like this.
“I don’t want to give birth to a kid wondering if it’s going to live in some kind of ‘Mad Max’ dystopia” https://t.co/juYLCBqUI8

The sky is falling, the sky is falling!
From The New York Times (saved you a click):
It is not an easy time for people to feel hopeful, with the effects of globalwarming no longer theoretical, projections becoming more dire and governmental action lagging. And while few, if any, studies have examined how large a role climate change plays in people’s childbearing decisions, it loomed large in interviews with more than a dozen people ages 18 to 43.
A 32-year-old who always thought she would have children can no longer justify it to herself. A Mormon has bucked the expectations of her religion by resolving to adopt rather than give birth. An Ohio woman had her first child after an unplanned pregnancy — and then had a second because she did not want her daughter to face an environmental collapse alone.
Among them, there is a sense of being saddled with painful ethical questions that previous generations did not have to confront.
The NYT just keeps out-dumbing itself.
Repeat after us …
OH.
FFS.
Then roll your eyes.
If you think we're close to a Mad Max dystopia then you probably shouldn't have kids because you're dumb. https://t.co/k49VDaqZYO

No one has ever accused climate change fanatics of being overly bright.
Can’t we just get credit for not putting the shackles of gender on the future child?

Right?
Mad max dystopia vs handmaiden's tale dystopia what is going to be?
— Vasilis Chronopoulos (@billxronopoulos) February 5, 2018
We’re thinking the Mad Max dystopia just told the Handmaid’s Tale to hold its beer.
Dystopia is subjective, where do I get my motorbike and one of those forearm crossbows?

Or those electric guitars that shoot FIRE?
FIRE FIRE!
You're being unnecessarily gracious by only using "dumb" there…

No need to be impolite.
THE END IS NEAR!
