Apple has launched its official repair program for IPhone 7 users who are facing a “No Service” issue. According to the company’s support page, the problem is limited to iPhone 7 and a very small group of users are facing the issue. Affected smartphones show "No Service" in the status bar even when cellular coverage is available in the area and this is said to be due to a failed component on the main logic board.

1487 smartphones for free and users who are facing the aforementioned issue can check if it sports the model number A1660, A1780 (China) or A1779 (Japan) on its rear panel. The company states in its support page, “These affected units were manufactured between September 2016 and February 2018 and sold in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, and the U.S. If your device exhibits the symptom described above, Apple will repair your device, free of charge. Your iPhone will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this program. This program only applies to iPhone 7.”

1487 before turning it in at a service center for repairs. customers who have already paid for the replacement will be contacted via email by the company and reimbursed for the same. One can contact the company in case they don’t receive an email by the end of March 2018.
