Local people at a rally in Fulchhari upazila on Saturday demanded immediate arrest of the culprits who abducted schoolboy Sazzad Hossain.
The victim is a Class V student of Chandia Government Primary School.
On February 1, a gang abducted Sazzad, son of Saju Mia of Chandia Nayabari village, on his way to home from school.
They later took him to a house in the area. Hearing screams, local people rushed to the spot and rescued the boy.
However, the abductors manage to flee the scene.
