Cherry Hill, Md. (WMAR) -
It’s been one year since Joanna Clark and her 15-year-old daughter Shariece disappeared.
Family and friends held a vigil outside the apartment where the two were last seen in Cherry Hill.
Margaret Tucker, Joanna's mother and Shariece's grandmother said she has been spending the last year investigating on her own.
"I did a search on my own and I found two grave sites,” said Tucker. “One had an angel next to it which I thought that would have been Reesie. One had a mirror like a love poem so I was like that's Joanna. Anyway, they dug them up and they were empty they were memorials for the homeless there."
The family and friends at the vigil say they think they know who is responsible for the women disappearing, but no suspects have been named.
The family is offering a $2,500 reward for information that helps them locate the two women.
