THAKURGAON, Feb 4: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) distributed blankets among 450 handicapped children in the district on Saturday afternoon.
With the funding of Thakurgaon 30 BGB Battalion, Ekota Protibondhi School and Punarbashan Kendra organised the programme on the school premises at Araji Jhargaon in Sadar Upazila of the district.
Director of the institution Amirul Islam presided over the function while BGB 30 Battalion Director Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Hossen attended the programme as chief guest and Managing Committee Member Abdul Kalim was present as special guest.
The chief guest urged the affluent persons in the society to help the handicapped children for building a bright future.
