Get On Technology to get into provision of healthcare solutions

Get On Technology has expandฌed its business base to include healthcare solutions and healthcare furniture, and expects to generate revenue growth of 20 per cent by the end of this year.

Wootichai Poonyakanok, managing director of Get On Technology, a local IT distributor, said the firm would this year import and provide smart point-of-care solutions, medication carts and recliners for hospitals and home users. 

“We want to provide healthcare solutions and healthcare furniture products to support the potential demand in hospitals and among home users, so that doctors will be comfortable treating their patients,” Wootichai said. 

“Patients will also get added convenience in treatment and an improved quality of life as they use healthcare furniture to support their lifestyle at home.

“As Thailand is becoming an ageing society, there is great potential growth in the market for these products.” The firm will continue to operate its existing four business units, including enterprise infrastructure, cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, data management solutions, enterprise printing and client soluฌtions.

Under its enterprise infrastructure unit, the firm provides infrastructure solutions and datacentre facilities, such as Virtual SAN, which is a software defined storage offering from VMware, and vSphere server virtualisation products. Under cloud and IoT solutions, the firm offers various services such as private and hybrid cloud storage, big data, IoT gateway solutions and infrastructure as a service (IaaS). 

With its data management solutions unit, the firm provides data protection and recovery solutions, tape libraries and longterm archiving, and disaster recovery solutions designed for the enterprise market.

Lastly, with its enterprise printing and client solutions business, the firm provides print management, integrated printing solutions, client solutions, and dot matrix and passbook printers to the bank and enterprise market. 

“I think that the IT market is still continuing to grow. 

“New government projects such as the Thailand 4.0 scheme and Eastern Economy Corridor (EEC) projects are factors to drive the IT market in the country as a whole,” said Wootichai.

He said that the firm this year expects to generate revenue growth around 20 per cent higher than last year, and expects to make revenue from its healthcare business around 1020 per cent. 

It revenue last year reached Bt1.1 billion. 

It also expanded its business base into Laos and Myanmar via business partners.
