The US Bank Stadium hosts this year's Super Bowl Getty 2018
The Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots go head-to-head at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis tonight in the 52nd edition of the Super Bowl.
The Patriots are looking to win back-to-back Super Bowls, after their stunning comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons last year.
The Eagles, meanwhile, head into the game having been crowned NFC champions following a dominant 38-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

Anyway, Rex Burkhead bursts through for a significant gain and the Pats are already at the Eagles' 27.
It's 3rd down though.... incomplete. Patriots hit the field goal but it's 15-6 to Philadelphia with 7:24 left in the 2nd quarter.
Note: the timings might look weird but this is a technical problem so let's just focus on the football
Nick Foles, it's your time.
The Eagles have the ball back and after sputtering at the start of this drive it's a big play to Alshon Jeffrey that gets them moving again. In fact, they're just outside the end zone.
AND NOW THEY ARE IN IT! LeGarrette Blount cannot be stopped and Philadelphia are 15-3 ahead.
Things are going right for the Eagles...
Trick play from the Pats! It ends up with James White tossing to Amendola who throws to TOM EFFING BRADY - but TB12 can't hold onto the pass and it bounces out of bounds.
Great play design, execution lets them down.
Brandin Cooks has just taken an absolute hammer so we've got a pause in play.
2nd quarter, 12:59 to go and it's 9-3 Eagles.
If you wanna see the key 3rd-down stop again...
No it won't, in fact!
The holder muffs and Gostkowski hits the post. Remarkable scenes here as the Eagles survive.
Wow wow wow. 3rd-and-2, Pats call Brandin Cooks on the jet sweep and he tries to leap over a standing defender... but gets caught and slammed into the ground. He's short and it'll be a field goal.
Here's that big play from Brady to Amendola. Nice work to escape pressure but the secondary simply hasn't seen Amendola on the wheel route.
Right then, can the Patriots respond?
You bet they can! A blown coverage sees Danny Amendola fly by Ronald Darby and the Pats make a huge play to get up around the Eagles' 30.
1st-and-10 they hit a 12-yarder to get into the red zone. Now it's James White who scuttles through for six yards. Brady hands off again and White comes up a yard short and that, dear friends, will end the first quarter.
You wanna see it? Your wish is my command, internet chum:
TOUCHDOWNNNNNNNNNNNNNN EAAAAAAAGGGGLLLLLLESSSS!
It's a 34-yard shot from Foles and Alshon Jeffrey, the jump-ball specialist, comes down with it. Eric Rowe beaten. Patriots beaten. Eagles lead.
9-3 to Philadelphia! A short drive where Blount dashed them on the ground and then Jeffrey made a BIG play through the air.
(Extra point was missed)
A remarkable statistic:
Well this is classic Pats. They're already in the red zone with James White and Chris Hogan making hay after the catch early on.
3rd-and-4 on the Eagles' 8-yard line. Brady gets the call in his ear, what is it to be?
Shotgun snap, Brady goes for Gronk on the slant and Jalen Mills bats it away.
It'll be 3-3 here after 11 minutes.
The key play in that drive, with the Eagles going for the end zone.
Fascinated to see how the Eagles look defensively.
Would love Jim Schwartz to throw all the pressure at Brady (and Scarnecchia's O-line) to see what they've got.
The GOAT is about to take his turn.
3rd-and-goal from the 6 is the first real clutch play of the Super Bowl...
....Foles rolls out, play-action, comes left and his pass to the left-hand end of the end zone is batted away. The Patriots diced through midfield but tightened up where it matters to force a chip-shot field goal.
Patriots 0-3 Eagles
Jay Ajayi's first big run of the day is on first down and takes the ball to a yard outside the red zone. Corey Clement on 2nd down darts through the Pats on a screen and it's 1st-and-goal!!
The Eagles are rolling
They're rolling.
Foles converts 3rd-and-12 to Torrey Smith with a high one over the middle and the Eagles are inside the Patriots' 40.
