THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI Central Secretariat member Pannyan Raveendran has said LDF is not a wayside temple where the corrupt can be made to sit and take rest.

Pannyan's statment had indirectly rapped K M Mani who is eyeing an enrollment in the LDF.

He was inaugurating the commemorative meeting of yesteryear CPM leaders from Kottayam such as P P George and  Kumarakaom Shankunni Menon.

"Many are awaiting a chance to enter LDF. Among them there are people, who for the past five years had stood with the UDF, indulged in corruption and become plump. Such people who is now travelling a separate part have their eyes on LDF. We can't allow every one who asks for a place in the LDF," he said.
