Neighbours of a woman who died in her Hamilton home in "suspicious" circumstances say they didn't hear a thing.
It wasn't until police cars and ambulances turned up to the small weatherboard home on Dominion Rd yesterday afternoon that they began to realise something was amiss.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Saunders confirmed the woman's death at the house was suspicious after it was reported at 1.45pm.

Police spoke to witnesses and others at the scene yesterday. An examination of the property was also carried out and will continue today.
Neighbours spoken to the by Herald say they didn't hear a thing.
One woman said the first she knew about it was seeing all the police cars turn up.
She said she had seen a couple living there who also had young children.

Another neighbour said they were watching television at the time, and didn't know anything was amiss until police knocked at their door.
Another man said he saw ambulances turn up but wasn't sure who lived there or what had happened.
