Tennis Champ PV Sindhu defeated former World Champion Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand 21-13, 21-15 on Saturday in straight games to reach to the women’s singles final of India Open Women’s Singles Final.

Sindhu will now play against fifth seed Beiwan Zhang of USA in the final today. She made an exciting beginning by securing 12 points on the run.
Sindhu and Ratchanok showed their terrific game and it was no doubt a tough match. But PV Sindhu managed to clinch the game against her opponent player.

Beiwan Zhang had ease passed Saina Nehwal of India 21-10, 21-13 in 32 minutes.
In the men’s category, China’s Shi Yuqi and Chinese Taipei’s Chou Tien Chen will face off each other after clinching their semifinals.
In the double’s category, hopes for Indian team finished when duo Pranaav Jerry Chopra and Sikki Reddy were thrashed away by Denmark’s players Mathias Christiansen and Christinna Pedersen 16-21, 19-21 in the semifinal rounds.
