The 9th Graduation Ceremony of St Xavier’s College, Ranchi will be conducted on February 6 on college premises from 10.30 am onwards. Ranchi University VC, Dr RK Pandey has given his consent to attend the ceremony as the Chief Guest, while Dr Manoj Kumar Mishra, VC of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Dr Ramesh Sharan, VC, Vinoba Bhave University will be the Guests of Honour for the event.
As many as 31 gold medalists will be felicitated during the ceremony. Over 333 students passing their post-graduation (PG) courses in 2014-16 and 2316 under-graduate (UG) students of batch 2013-16 will receive their degrees. Also, 1875 UG students of various vocational courses will receive their degrees. Meanwhile, the college has begun the preparation for its Annual Fest, ‘Xavier Utsav’ as well organised annually in the month of February to provide platform to the students to showcase their artistic skills while organising range of activities.
