San Antonio • Call the Utah Jazz team #nosleep.

Playing on their second consecutive night, and on little rest because of travel issues, the Jazz improbably defeated the San Antonio Spurs 120-111 on Saturday night at the AT&T Center.

Utah’s now on a five-game winning streak, and moves its record to 24-28 on the season. The Jazz have won six of their last seven, and were able to do so without star rookie Donovan Mitchell, who missed the game with flu-like symptoms.

Ricky Rubio scored a career-high 34 points to lead the Jazz, along with nine assists.

Rookie forward Royce O’Neale scored a career-high 18 points with five assists and five rebounds. Derrick Favors scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds. Joe Ingles scored 10 points, while Raul Neto scored 12 points.

The Jazz take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.
