JAMMU: Communication and Capacity Development Department of PHE, I&FC J&K State organised three days training programme on ‘Water Quality Monitoring and Water Security Plan’ in association with CSIR National Environment Educational Research Institute, Nagpur at Institute of Engineers, Channi Himmat, here.
K. K. Magotra, Executive Director CCDU, Department of PHE, I&FC J&K State was Chief Guest on concluding day who distributed certificates among participants.
More than 40 engineers of PHE, I&FC Department attended the training programme. Experts from CSIR – NEERI, Nagpur, Dr. Pawan Labhasetwar, Subash Andey, Dr. Gajanan Khadse, Dr. Leena Deshpande and Prof. Rajesh Gupta made their presentation on various aspects of water quality assessment, water treatment, water supply system management and water safety plan and water security plans with latest techniques. A.K Bhardwaj, Incharge HRD, Gopal Sharma, Incharge IEC Activities, Mohan Lal Sharma, Sector Coordinator, Shahnawaz Dar, IEC Consultant, CCDU Department of PHE/I&FC and other Staff of CCDU were also present. Gopal Sharma presented vote of thanks.
