HENLINE FALLS, Ore. – Search and rescue crews are looking for a man who reportedly fell about 30 feet near Henline Falls in Marion County Saturday evening.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said they believe the man is seriously injured and in need of immediate rescue. They received a report about his fall at 5:30 p.m.
Fire personnel from several agencies, along with members of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office search and rescue team, are responding. Assistance form the Army Air National Guard was requested.
The sheriff’s office said the area the man is believed to be in is very remote, and it will take rescuers time before they get there.
The man’s name was not immediately released.
