How did the England players perform during their Six Nations clash with Italy?
England ran in seven tries during a breathless match in Rome, with winger Anthony Watson scoring a rapid brace inside the first 11 minutes of the match.
Owen Farrell, George Ford and Jack Nowell also crossed the whitewash for Eddie Jones’ team and Sam Simmonds scored twice, while the home side hit back through scores from Tommaso Benvenuti and Mattia Bellini.
Farrell found his form from the tee after a couple of early misses, converting four of the tries and knocking over a penalty.
No 8 Simmonds was highly impressive on his Six Nations debut and ran in a second late on, although the Exeter Chiefs ace may have to share the headlines to Watson after their eye-catching doubles in the 15-46 victory.
