SIOUX FALLS—The Sioux Falls Storm have signed quarterback Dillon Turner and defensive lineman Chad Stoterau for the 2018 season. They will both be rookies for the Indoor Football League franchise.

Turner played collegiately at Dakota Wesleyan University where he was a two-time All-Great Plains Athletic Conference offensive player of the year. Turner owns the conference records for career passing yards with 10,704 yards and career passing touchdowns with 115. He also holds the school records for single-season total touchdowns with 48, single-season passing with 3,400 yards, along with career passing and passing touchdowns. Turner ranks third on the DWU all-time list in career rushing yards with 3,215 yards, and ranks first in career total offense with 13,919 yards.

Stoterau will be entering his rookie season in the Indoor Football League. During his collegiate career at Northern State University, he tallied 126 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, five sacks and two fumble recoveries. Stoterau was a two-time All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) First Team selection.

"Great to have area talent and two of the best players to ever come from their universities," said Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs in a news release. "Chad is one of the best defensive players to play at Northern State but also one of the best from the Northern Sun Conference. Dillon put up video game statistics at DWU and fits in very well with what we do offensively. His size, speed, strength and football IQ are things that we feel can transfer to the Indoor game. We are excited to see both of these players show they can play with and against players from larger schools."
