Sat, February 3, 2018Express Sport brings you our Liverpool and Tottenham combined XI ahead of their Premier League clash at Anfield
Who makes our combined Liverpool and Tottenham XI?
Arsenal beat Everton 5-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Aaron Ramsey and a goal apiece from Laurent Koscielny and new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Victory for the Gunners closed the gap on fourth spot to five points ahead of Tottenham’s visit to Liverpool today (4.30pm) and Chelsea’s trip to Watford tomorrow (8pm).
Carragher reckons the win keeps Arsenal’s hopes of finishing in the Champions League qualification places alive.
And he believes that means they will be more motivated to win the north London derby against Spurs next Saturday, which is good news for Liverpool.

“I think they’ve got a big gap between themselves and Spurs.
“Spurs have got the game today plus next week against Arsenal.

“It is a huge game, I think the thing about Tottenham and Liverpool, Liverpool of late have had a couple of defeats but there’s still a positivity around it going forward for the second half of the season, same with Tottenham.
“The last couple of years they finished second through a good second half of the season.”
