Large crowds pay respect to Bellanwila Thera

The casket containing the body of late Prof. Venerable Bellanwila Wimalarathana Thera was brought to the Bellanwila Temple last night (Feb. 03).

The final rites of the late Thera will be held at the Sri Jayewardenepura University grounds on Thursday (Feb. 08) at 3 pm.

Our correspondent said that a large number of people are visiting the Temple to pay their respects to the late Thera.
