LG election results from 7 pm

The Elections Commission says that the results of the local government election scheduled to be held on the 10th of this month could be released from around 7 pm on the election day itself.

Speaking to our news team, Additional Elections Commissioner, Saman Sri Rathnayake also said that taking photographs or videoing of polling stations will also be strictly prohibited during the election day.
