Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has offered a reward for Tk 500,000 for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators who leaked the questions of SSC and equivalent exams, despite his denial of the leaks.

The minister said a committee has been formed to probe the allegations that the two SSC Bangla paper questions leaked.
“Tk 500,000 will be awarded to anyone who can accurately identify the perpetrators and turn them over to law enforcers,” Nahid said at an emergency meeting at the Secretariat on Sunday.
“A committee will be formed to probe whether the questions leaked match the papers, the effect it had on the examinees, whether anyone had been harmed by it, how such an exam can be evaluated and present recommendations.”
The committee will ‘monitor’ all the SSC and equivalent exams.
The committee will be led by Technical and Madrasah Education Division Secretary Md Alamgir and be composed of officials from the Cabinet Division, the Local Administration Ministry, the Home Ministry, police, the education board and BRTC.
More officials may be added to the committee if necessary, Nahid said.
Question sets and answers for the two Bangla papers in the SSC and equivalent exams went viral on the social media an hour or so before the start of both exams. The main questions in the exams matched the leaks.
