DGA Awards: Full Winners List

The awards were handed out Saturday night in Beverly Hills.

The Directors Guild of America Awards were handed out Saturday night in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hilton.

Judd Apatow hosted the 70th annual ceremony, with presenters that included Sally Hawkins, Allison Janney, Sam Rockwell, Saiorse Ronan, Amy Schumer, John Singleton and Bradley Whitford.

Guillermo del Toro won the night's top honor, best directing of a feature film for The Shape of Water, beating out fellow nominees Greta Gerwig for Lady Bird, Martin McDonagh for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Christopher Nolan for Dunkirk and Jordan Peele for Get Out.

Also during the ceremony, past DGA president Michael Apted received the DGA Honorary Life Member Award in recognition of leadership in the industry, contribution to the guild and the profession of directing, and outstanding career achievement. In addition, Dwight Williams received the Frank Capra Achievement Award and and Jim Tanker received the Franklin J. Schaffner Achievement Award, both in recognition of career achievement in the industry and service to the guild.
