Letters: Europhile mandarins must not be allowed to dictate the terms of Brexit

SIR – Your report suggests that pro-European mandarins in Whitehall have taken control of the Brexit agenda.

It seems that, once again, attempts to break away from the diktats of the unelected bureaucrats in Brussels are being frustrated.

Is there any hope that the people of our supposedly democratic country might actually get what they voted for – or will the gravy train continue to chug along in the direction that its beneficiaries decide?
