Anna Williamson, who rose to fame presenting the children’s TV show Toonatik on GMTV, has revealed that she trained as a reserve for Dancing On Ice in the past.

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Anna said: “I would love to be on Dancing On Ice. I absolutely love that show – I always have done.
“I feel like Dancing On Ice and I have sort of unfinished business.”

She continued: “I’ve still got my ice skates - I broke my ankle but I’d done quite well with training.”
The This Morning agony aunt is no stranger to challenging herself on TV, after appearing on the celebrity diving show ITV's Splash! back in 2014.
Starring alongside former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna (who played Carmel McQueen) and reality TV star Dan Osborne, Anna’s “dare devil” attitude led her to compete in the series’ semi-final.
Mentored by Olympic diver Tom Daley, the 37-year-old wowed viewers as she stripped down to a swimsuit for the competition.

Speaking about the possibility of starring on the ITV show, she said: “I think that would be great fun.
“If I can dive off a diving board and not break my neck, then I think I can hack a couple of Bushtucker Trials.”
The counsellor and life coach also discussed her second book, Breaking Mum and Dad: The Insider’s Guide to Parenting Anxiety.

Discussing her own experience of post-natal depression, post-natal anxiety and PTSD birth trauma after having her first child last year, Anna said: “I realised through talking to other new parents and doing my own research, that I was certainly not alone.
“And yet, I had felt very embarrassed and very guilty about how I was feeling.”
