Junior hockey: Bismarck gains on Wilderness

Bismarck scored twice in the third period to overcome the Minnesota Wilderness 4-2 in a North American Hockey League game Saturday night in Bismarck, N.D.

Jacob Marti and Grant Johnson tallied in the third for the Bobcats, who entered the contest in fifth place in the six-team Central Division, five points behind the Wilderness.

Nathan Horn and Edward Lindelow scored second-period goals for Minnesota, sandwiched around Bismarck goals by Zach Van Sant and Tanner Vescio.

Ryan Fanti stopped 17 shots for the Wilderness, while Ryan Ullan of Hibbing made 22 saves for Bismarck.
