(MENAFN) Travel data firm OAG has released a new report that ranked Qatar Airways first in Middle East and Africa on punctuality.

The company has evaluated On-Time Performance (OTP) for airlines and airports in order to determine the Qatari carrier was at the top of the list in the report.

Qatar has scored an 82.95% OTP, placing it at the top of the list, followed by an 80.67% for Royal Jordanian placing it second.

The report pointed out "the Punctuality League is based on 57 million flight records using full-year data from 2017 to create a ranking of the best on-time performance for the world's largest airlines and airports."
