2-year-old girl's quick alert saves child from drowning

Thoubal, February 03 2018: Quick thinking and bravery of a 2 year and 5 months old girl saved a 1 year and 6 months old child from drowning today morning at Kairebikhok Awang Leikai, Thoubal district.

The incident took place at around 7.50 am when Usham Sweety Devi daughter of Usham Amujao Singh and Usham Mentombi and Usham Moramba Singh son of Usham Nilamani Singh and Usham Ongbi Loidang Devi were playing as usual and the latter fell into a pond near their house.

The quick Sweety alerted family members about Moramba drowning in the pond.

The courage of Usham Sweety has saved the child, said Kairembikok Students' Union and KSUC.
