OLY--RUSSIAN DOPING-IOC

PYEONGCHANG, South Korea — IOC President Thomas Bach has described as "extremely disappointing and surprising" a recent ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport that lifted Olympic doping bans for 28 Russian athletes. Bach says the decision shows an "urgent" need to reform the court's internal structure. He says he hopes a final decision on cases of Russian athletes will be made in the next couple of days.
