JACKSONVILLE — Divine Myles (24 points) and Luke Doyle (20 points) combined to score 44 points but Stetson (10-16, 2-7 ASUN) lost 97-91 at North Florida (11-15, 5-4) on Saturday.
UNF, which shot 63.5 percent, went on a 14-2 run and was up 35-23 with 6:44 left before halftime.
B.J. Glasford (14 points) and Angel Rivera (11 points, four assists) also led the Hatters.
"It's frustrating to me because we haven't been able to get over the hump," Stetson coach Williams said. "I told the guys that when I look at the totality of the game we played well offensively, but they scored too many points. When an opponent shoots 63 percent from the field, that's tough. The energy was good, the guys were ready to play. You just have to keep building on the energy and take it on the road next week."
Stetson visits USC Upstate at 7 p.m. Thursday.
