Jessica M. Vorwaldt of Fort Madison and Jordan L. Burdette of St. Charles, Missouri, will be married May 26 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Houghton.

Parents of the couple are Randy and Johnita Vorwaldt of Fort Madison, Jane Burdette, also of Fort Madison, and Jerry and the late Julie Burdette of Donnellson.

The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of Fort Madison High School. She will graduate this year from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

The bridegroom-elect is a 2011 graduate of Fort Madison High School and a 2014 graduate of Le Cordon Bleu culinary school.
