DO IT: Listen to the lake
As one Duluth angler said this past week, this is the season of skim ice on Lake Superior. Thin sheets of ice form on the lake in cold weather. When the wind blows those sheets slowly to shore, they make some interesting sounds as they break up and pile up along shore.
