The 10th convocation of Rajshahi University (RU) will be held on March 24, the university authorities said yesterday.
Vice Chancellor Prof Abdus Sobhan said he received a letter from the president's office in this regard. “Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will chair the convocation,” he said.
While talking to The Daily Star in December last year, Vice Chancellor Prof M Abdus Sobhan said they had submitted a letter to the education ministry regarding the convocation programme.
In total, some 6,009 graduates of the university are participating in the upcoming 10th convocation ceremony, according to the RU ICT centre.
