Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal broke his silence today on the murder of 23-year-old photographer Ankit Saxena in Delhi on Thursday that shook the capital.
Condemning the brutal murder of Ankit by the kin of his Muslim girlfriend, Kejriwal said in a tweet that he has spoken to the father of the deceased.
"Whatever happened is very shameful. The Delhi government will provide the biggest lawyers to deliver justice to Ankit. We will do everything possible to give severe punishment to the accused. May god give strength to Ankit's family. We are with them in this struggle," the chief minister tweeted.

Amid questions being raised by the opposition, AAP MLA Sanjay Singh will also visit the family of Ankit.
AAP legislator Alka Lamba said in a tweet, "If they want to marry each other, then the torchbearers of religion call it 'love jihad' and perform 'ghar wapsi'. And when they are killed, then the torchbearers of religion pretend to shed two tears. The conspiracy is deep. We have to be strong to get to the bottom of it."
