Jennifer Ellison cut her head open with her own skate during a live show
The popstar has found himself competing in the dreaded skate-off every single Sunday night since Dancing On Ice began last month, knocking out Candice Brown, Stephanie Waring and Perri-Shakes Drayton.
Understandably, the weekly pilgrimage to the judges table as they decide his fate is becoming a “downer”.
Lemar, 39, has now spoken exclusively to Express.co.uk about his unfortunate feat.
“The Monday is probably the hardest day because obviously you have been building up all week to give your all on the Sunday,” he explained. “And then, in our case at least, we’ve been in the bottom.

“Then there’s the happiness of getting through and then there’s the kind of like the downer of, ‘Oh, we were in the bottom two again.’
“Then that starts again on the Monday and you think, ‘Okay, well that was last week - how hard have I got to push this week in order to try and avoid the same thing?’
“So, you know, Monday’s can be a bit of a mental regroup and then Tuesday we’re usually on a high again and are like okay lets go and get it.”
What’s more, Lemar revealed that he faces a huge obstacle going into the live show.

“I try and block out everything,” he said. “The problem is with this we are all in the training rink there.
“If I was doing one of my shows I would be in my dressing room doing my own thing, come out and perform and after that go out and mingle.
“I think that way is slightly different and obviously with this I am ding something that I am not familiar with.

“Those two things are the biggest battles, number one, doing something that I’m not used to and number two, doing it where I have to mingle first so you’re seeing the other performances and hearing the music.
He added: “It all adds to the tension.”
This week Lemar will be skating to Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You in a bid to swerve the skate-off for the first time.
Dancing On Ice continues tonight at 6pm on ITV.
