Sparks Spine Center seminars
The Sparks Orthopedic and Spine Center will offer free educational seminars each month as it focuses on treatment options, including joint replacement surgery, for those suffering from knee, hip, or lower back pain often caused by osteoarthritis. The seminars are held at noon on the third Thursday of the month in the Shuffield Education Center at Sparks.
The symptoms of arthritis usually begin slowly, with aches after physical activity, and may progress to persistent joint pain and stiffness, especially after long periods of rest. The prevalence and severity of arthritis increases with age, particularly among women.
To register for this seminar or any upcoming Knee and Hip Pain seminar, visit SparksHealth.com or call (479) 709-DOCS. For questions about the seminar, contact Natalie Bohannan, the care coordinator at the Sparks Orthopedic and Spine Center, by calling (479) 441-5095.
