As many as 29 students, highest for any individual school of the State, have been enlisted in the merit list of the National Talent Search Examination (State-Round).
The test is being conducted by the NCERT and SCERT jointly under the aegis of Union Ministry of Human Resource Department (HRD). It might be mentioned here that for last two decades, the DAV Chandrasekharpur has been leading the pack in NTSE and KVPY.
The meritorious students will appear the national and final round written test in May, 2018. After successful completion, the NTSE holders would be eligible to get scholarship along with other benefits till end of their higher studies.
School Principal Dr KC Satapathy congratulated the meritorious students and in-charge teachers Niranjan Swain and Dr Sarbadaman Singh for the phenomenal achievements and wished for the national round.
