The Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat congratulated the under-19 Indian cricket team for winning the world cup. He said that the victory was an example of India moving towards becoming stronger in the field of sports. He also commended young cricketers from Uttarakhand, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Aryan Juyal for their performance in the tournament. He said that the two young cricketers had made the state proud with their commendable performance in the match which will also motivate other youth in the State.
