A FOOTBALL signed by Premier League players will be auctioned in a County Durham town with a historic link to the club.
In the wake of the Munich air disaster on February 6, 1958, which killed eight Manchester United players, three sportsman from Bishop Auckland FC were loaned to the team.
Sixty years on, the Manchester United Foundation has donated a signed football to be auctioned at the Mayor of Bishop Auckland, Cllr Adam Zair’s, Valentine Ball, on February 17.
