The government will introduce digitised land registration system very soon, said Law Minister Anisul Huq yesterday.
The scope for giving better service to people and the responsibilities of registration officials increased to a large scale after the department of registration had been upgraded to a directorate, he said.
Anisul was addressing the annual general meeting of Bangladesh Registration Service Association (BRSA) at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka.
The registration department was upgraded to a directorate on January 2, said the law minister.
BRSA President Depak Kumar Sarker presided over the meeting.
