Jerry Lee Robinson

Jerry Lee Robinson, 60, passed away Nov. 15, 2017, after a heroic two year battle with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He is survived by his wife, Patricia and his two sons, Alex and Jakob, his mother Alice Arvin, his brother Rick and his step-brothers, Alan and Tony. Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Richard "Robbie", and his grandparents Myrtle and Quincy Robinson and Zola and Joseph Hightower.
Jerry was born in Macomb on Oct. 24, 1957. He earned a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from DePaul University. He was an avid sports fan, loving baseball the most. His country club of choice was the Atlanta Braves where he held season tickets for 11 years. He was a voracious reader, avid bowler, and fan of English premier league soccer, and loved trivia. He was a member of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, eventually heading the Finance Council.
He was most proud of his sons, stressing work ethic, compassion and academics. He loved his family, lived selflessly, and touched the lives of many. He will be missed.
Cremation has been accorded. Interment will follow at a later date.
