Rosewood downs Robbinsville for 1A wrestling title

Greensboro, N.C. — Rosewood defeated Robbinsville, 41-27, Saturday afternoon in the N.C. High School Athletic Association 1A wrestling dual-team championships at the Greensboro Coliseum Fieldhouse.
The Eagles avenged their championship loss to Robbinsville last season and have now claimed two 1A dual-team titles in the last three years.
Rosewood's Joey Behrend tood down Colton Phillips in the second period of the 160-pound bout to clinc the championship for Rosewood. Behred was awarded MVP honors for his standout performance.
