THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A complaint has been filed against a police officer for swindling lakhs of rupees from people at the pretext of offering jobs in various firms including the Kannur International Airport that has not started operations yet.

The allegations have been raised against police officer at the Thalassery control room Baiju, who is also a native of Mattanur. It has also been reported that there is a huge mafia racket that supports him.

Besides, a CCTV footage of Baiju taking Rs. 3 lakh from a Thalassery native for a job in the Kannur airport is out. He is seen taking the money from the Thalassery native at a hotel in Thalassery.

Baiju can also be heard talking about providing a job at the Kannur airport, and also about his high-level contacts.
