A two-day training programme and seminar on ‘Sensitisation towards Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste’ will be held on February 3 and 4 here at the Administration Academy. For the first time public prosecutors have been invited who would provide special guidance to increase work efficiency and rate of conviction.
The experts would include Judges, Solicitor General, DGP, Public Prosecutors, Law Officers, professors and lawyers.
On the first day discussion on 'Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act-2012' and 'Challenges and Solutions of the prosecution in cases related to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act' would be held. On the second day lecture on ‘Fearing against the parties and supporting the witnesses is the biggest obstacle in the prosecution topic would be given by Justice Rakesh Saxena, Advocate of High Court Indore bench.
