Cold weather conditions prevail in Pb, Haryana

Cold conditions continued to prevail in and today. The Union Territory of Chandigarh, the joint capital of the two states, braved cold conditions at a minimum of 7.7 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal, MeT department official said. Among other places in Punjab, Amritsar, and recorded their respective minimums at 5.1, 7 and 7.6 degrees Celsius respectively, up to one notches above normal. In Haryana, Ambala's low was 10.4 degree Celsius, three degrees above normal while Bhiwani, Hisar and Karnal experienced cold conditions at 8.2, 5 and 6 degrees Celsius respectively, up to three notches below normal. Narnaul's minimum was 8 degree Celsius, three notches above normal. The MeT department in its forecast said will remain dry in and tomorrow.
