England and Ireland are the two leading teams in the Six Nations 2018

Since Italy’s inclusion in the tournament in 2000, England have won the title six times, more than any other side, including three of the first four.

However, they have never managed to do it three times in a row with France denying them in 2002.

France, Wales and Ireland have all won back-to-back Six Nations since but not one of them has managed to complete the hat-trick.

But Eddie Jones’ England have just one defeat since 2015 on their card, a remarkable run of wins, and start the tournament even-money favourites to make it three trophies in a row.
