The websites of 69 Haryana Government departments have been taken up for implementing the Content Management Framework (CMF) as per the Guidelines for the Indian Government Websites (GIGW).
This has been done to ensure compliance with the Accessible India Campaign (AIC) deadline of making at least 50 per cent of Central and State Government websites and public documents compliant with accessibility standards by March 2018.
An official spokesman on Friday said that the Government of India has initiated the CMF project for standardization and improvement in presentation and content delivery of websites of government departments. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has entrusted R V Solutions Pvt. Ltd. with the responsibility of redesigning websites of the Government departments as per Web Content Accessibility and GIGW.The spokesman said that all Administrative Secretaries had been directed to check the developed or under development website of their department for any required incorporation and give User Acceptance Testing, so that redesigned website could be made online at the earliest.
The department would also ensure to keep website updated on day to day basis and upload the bilingual (Hindi) contents to the website through Web Information Manager, he added.
