Tom Brady net worth: How much is New England Patriots quarter-back worth?
Brady is a five-time Super Bowl champion who is recognised by the overwhelming majority as the greatest player to ever play in the NFL.
Interestingly, however, cash appears to be anything from the top of his priorities.
That can be seen in the way he has taken massive pay cuts over the years, earning far less from playing than he could have done with other teams around the NFL, who would have been only too willing to break the bank to secure his services.
Seventeen years in the league leading such a successful team to title after title has had a massive impact on Brady’s earning potential.
Current estimates put his overall net worth, courtesy of his playing wages and lucrative sponsorship deals with Under Armour and Ugg among others, at about $180million.
But the best thing about that is that he doesn’t even earn the most money in his own house.
His supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen has an estimated net worth of $380million.

Add that together and the Brady-Bundchen duo are worth a cool $560million between them.
And Brady has put huge sums of cash to help excellent causes during his time in the league, this season donating $100,000 to JJ Watt’s relief fund after Hurricane Harvey devastated Watt’s adopted hometown of Houston, Texas.
Just this week Brady has again reiterated his desire to play until he is 45, so with another potential five years of endorsements and playing salary, Brady could easily take his net worth towards a whopping $250m.
Brady, 40, has a contract for at least the next two seasons. The early indications from within the New England organisation point to him signing a new deal before the start of the 2018 campaign.
That possibility was all-but confirmed when the Patriots traded both of their backup quarterbacks - Jacoby Brissett and Jimmy Garoppolo - during this season.
So how long can Brady go on?
Brady has indicated on multiple occasions his desire to play until he is 45 and while he admitted earlier this week that he would “never want to be a detriment to the team”, there is an obvious and well-documented commitment from him to extend his playing career for as long as possible.

So much so, that he has even made a docu-series about it for Facebook Watch.
‘Tom vs Time’ has been a huge hit with fans and gives a behind-the-scenes look at how Brady prepares for each game.
And in the build-up to Sunday’s Super Bowl, he said: “I've learned and grown in a lot of different ways. My body is very important to me as an athlete.
“Your body is your asset and how well it can handle the rigours of training and playing - that's the length of your career.
“For me, I learned I needed to invest in my body and invest in the things that will help me feel good, or else I would have stopped playing 10 years ago.
“I don't think there's any way you can continue to play if your body can't do it. To me, it's just common sense. It's part of my routine and it's easy for me to do now because I've been doing it for so long.
