Namedroppers (Feb. 3, 2018)
FARGO—The Fargo Davies Eagle Elite Dance Team took first place in the NDADD State Dance Competition, earning the distinction of being the 2018 North Dakota State Large Varsity Jazz Champions. They also received the Team Academic Scholar Recognition.
This is Davies High School's first time winning the Large Varsity Jazz division.
Team members include: Lexi Alley, Emma Bale, Elizabeth Bertel, Czarina Dablow, Kendal Dolalie, Ashlyn Erickson, McKenna Fraase, Abbey Greek, Paloma Johnson, Tommi Johnson, Mya Kemmer, Alya Kretchman, Tori Larson, Ellie Moser, Kasique Nowling, Kayla Tharaldson, Ella Thorson and Lily Waller.
Coaches include Sarae Olson and Alexis Allen.
Fargo North senior Brianna Martin has been selected for the 2018 High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall.
She and other vocalists from around the country will rehearse and perform under the direction of Dr. Lynn Gackle from Baylor University.
