Indian team lifts ICC Under-19 World Cup by defeating Australia
The Indian Under-19 team which remained unbeatable throughout the tournament today beat Australia to lift the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

Chasing a target of 217 in their allotted 50 overs, India reached the target in the 39th over.

The man from Delhi, Manjot Kalra, scored an unbeaten 101 orchestrating the win.

It is the fourth time that India has won the ICC Under-19 World Cup. This time around, the Indian team was coached by former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid.

In the history of the tournament, the most successful teams have been India and Australia, having won the coveted trophy thrice each.

The final match of the ICC U-19 World Cup was played at Mount Maunganui, New Zealand on Saturday.

Shubman Gill was named as the player of the tournament.
