Police arrested municipal Jamaat-e-Islami ameer from Chatkhil upazila of Noakhlai early Saturday.
The arrested man is identified as Akter Hossain, 45, son of late Abdus Sobhan.
Chatkhil Police Station OC Johirul Anwar said they arrested Akter from his house in a sabotage case.
