A PN shadow cabinet reshuffle is on the horizon, The Malta Independent is informed.

PN Leader Adrian Delia held a number of meetings with MPs last Friday. Delia, has in the past, said that he is under no rush to appoint a new cabinet, and has not done so since his election as leader.

The meetings held Friday saw Delia speak with MPs about possible portfolios, and ended early in the morning. In addition, meetings resumed again earlier today.

Sources within the PN told this newsroom that Toni Bezzina will be the PN spokesperson for Transport and Infrastructure, and that Jason Azzopardi will take over as spokesperson for the Environment.

Sources also said that former PN Deputy Leader Beppe Fenech Adami could be given energy, however could also be left in the same position.

In addition, Karol Aquilina is being touted as the next spokesperson for reforms and citizenship, while Claudio Grech will be given social policy. Chris Said is said to be kept as the spokesperson for Gozo, and sources said he will also be made the spokesperson for the Constitutional Convention.

PN MP Ivan Bartolo is to remain the spokesperson for social housing and the fight against poverty, but will also see loneliness added to his portfolio, this newsroom is informed.
